Let's slice into another exciting pizza adventure! Today's destination is NorthBound, located in the charming town of Souderton, just a short drive north of Lansdale. While I've visited this restaurant before, this time I was eager to indulge in their pizza creations.
I opted for the Meat Lovers Pizza ($16), a Detroit-style pie with a unique twist: the cheese was nestled underneath the toppings. The pizza was generously topped with house-made sausage, crispy bacon, savory pepperoni, garlic, and crushed red peppers for a fiery kick.
One thing to note is that the pizza size is perfect for sharing with a group of four, ensuring that everyone can savor each mouthwatering slice. Personally, I devoured two slices but had to take the rest home as we also ordered the delicious Sexy Fries and entrées.
What sets Detroit-style pizza apart is its crispy golden edges, and NorthBound's version certainly did not disappoint. Each bite was a burst of flavors from the toppings, and the crushed red pepper flakes provided just the right amount of heat.
I can't wait to head back to NorthBound soon to try their other pizza offerings. Stay tuned for more delicious pizza adventures!
